Project Attrition
Attrition remains a perennial issue for the meetings, conventions and exhibitions industry to grapple with. The Convention Industry Council commissioned Project Attrition in response to the industry's growing concerns around the issue. Launched as a fast-response industry collaboration, Project Attrition was designed to help educate members of the meetings, conventions and exhibitions industry on the issue while pursuing solutions to minimize the impact of the problem.
The results of Project Attrition offer planners and suppliers a number of tools and resources for formulating proactive attrition management plans.

Project Attrition Reports

Project Attrition Phase I Report - This report details the work of the Project Attrition Task Force and includes tools and resources for both planners and suppliers.  The report contains case studies, industry research, educational resources, decison-making tools, and timelined action plans.

The Project Attrition Phase II Report - This report examines event attendee behavior and perceptions when reserving hotel rooms and presents insight through eight diverse case studies resulting from a survey of event attendees.
