2016 Economic Significance Study

The new Economic Significance Study to evaluate the economic impact of the events industry as of 2016 is currently in process with our research partner, Tourism Economics. This study quantifies the economic contributions made by meetings, trade shows, conventions, congresses, incentive events and other meetings that take place throughout the United States. After the data is collected, the study is planned to be completed and results will be shared in early 2018. Upon completion of the U.S. study, we are exploring international studies also.
